The guiding principles and essential functions of the Senior Open Space Maintenance and Trails Supervisor are:

Performs work in the planning, maintenance, and construction of all Open Space amenities and trails. This position is responsible for supervising and managing the Open Space Maintenance Team’s full time, seasonal, and contractual employees, as well as creating work plans and setting vision for the Open Space maintenance team. This hands-on, supervisory role, in our Open Space Division, is under the direction of the Open Space Superintendent assisting the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department.
